Rob Rowsell’s personal success coach Trevor McGregor explains the 3 Formulas for Life. This motivational speech will give you perspective on escaping the unproductive, negative moods that hold you back.

Formulas For Life - DNA MoleculesFormulas For Life

The equation for escaping your rut is made up of these three formulas:

  1. Formula for Happiness – when your life conditions match up with your blueprint (LC=BP)
  2. Formula for Unhappiness – Your life conditions do not work and don’t match your blueprint
  3. Formula for Suffering – Your life conditions do not equal your blueprint, and you feel powerless to change it!

Obviously, the ideal means that you live most of your life in formula 1, and NOT in formula 3! How can you do that, though? You have to either change your life conditions, or change your life’s blueprint. That means that you must do one of the following tasks:

  1. Change what you are doing physically to in order to change your life.
  2. Change your thinking when you need to change your blueprint or expectations.

What do you think about this theory of the formulas for life? We can all admit that it is impossible to avoid sometimes dipping into formula 2 or 3. However, there is no reason we can’t spend the majority of our time in formula 1. A community of like minded people such as our ATL Inner Circle Group can help a LOT to motivate you!

Success coach Trevor McGregor has guided winners, including everyone from Olympians to real estate moguls. One of his most requested subjects? The six rungs on the ladder of success. The little things compound when you invest more in your success and climb that ladder. From step 1 to step 2 is a mile – a big step! However, the farther you climb, the shorter the distance between steps. This ladder principle applies to every aspect of our life, from our real estate business to our marriage, as well as our diet and exercise.

Climbing The Ladder Of Success

A businessman climbs the ladder of success in the real estate industry

What are the six rungs on the ladder of success, from bottom to top? They are showing up:

1. Poor
2. Good
3. Great
———————-
4. Excellent
5. Outstanding
6. Extraordinary

Most people can get to the third rung with a little effort, but can you climb up above that middle line, which leads to the “Excellent” rung?

When your effort is poor, you will get pain as your result. Playing good will only get you poor results, while great work means good results in your future. Excellent effort will get you great results. Outstanding effort results in Excellent Results, but only  extraordinary effort will yield outstanding results for you. That extraordinary work is the only way that you can reach outstanding results when climbing to the top of the ladder of success.

Most of us have great ideas, and we all hope to succeed in life. What separates the dreamers from the doers, though? The doers employ a Success Planning Process. In this video, Rob Rowsell’s personal success mentor Trevor McGregor breaks down this process, divided into just 4 simple “S” words. Employ these today, so you can plan your ultimate life goals!

Success Planning Process - When you plan properly, you will see steps nobody else canSuccess Planning Process Outlined in Four “S” Words

The four “S” words that will change your business life are:

  1. State
  2. Story
  3. Standards
  4. Strategy

State means how you show up to work, both physically and mentally. That includes where you focus your attention, as well as the language you use in your everyday conversation.

Story means your chosen identity as a professional. Do you see yourself as a victim or a victor in the marketplace? Your role includes the narrative you tell yourself on WHY you can or can not have something you want.

Standards means how you show up each day professionally. Specifically, it includes the level which you commit to play at. When you create a high level of standards, it ensures that you own your highest routines, habits, and rituals on a daily basis.

Strategy means how that you approach your tasks. Do you have a roadmap to help you put in the work every day? Are you directing your thoughts toward the “who, not how”? When we employ this strategy in real estate, or any other industry, that is the roadmap of our success planning process.
