"Addicted to Life" Chapter 3 Review - Create a Wave of Momentum

Rob Rowsell tells his remarkable life story in his book Addicted To Life! In this review of Chapter 3, Rob talks about how the world rewards action. Furthermore, he explains the chapter’s theme, how stacked actions create the wave of momentum that carries you to ultimate success.

Create a Wave of momentum and change your life for good! What Does A Wave Of Momentum Look Like?

Want to create a wave of momentum that takes you on to the next step, and then the next step? You’ve got to commit to being an action taker!

Spiritual and Physical Health

Even after Rob kicked drugs, lost weight, and got his career on track through a series of stacked actions, one thing was still missing. God was calling him into a deeper relationship. Rob started with studying the book The Purpose Driven Life, and then gradually became more deeply active in his local church. Only through pursuing the God who was pursuing him all along did Rob truly move on from his former life. Rob’s spiritual health – his walk with Jesus Christ – is the cement that holds everything together.

Rob also detailed his weight loss journey. Over six months, he shed 70 lbs by transforming his thinking and habits. Truthfully, Rob sometimes slips back into some of his old eating and inactivity traps. When that happens, he gets back on the horse and creates a new wave for his physical health.

Career Momentum: Using Your Advantages

Rob hearkens back to his days as a service writer in an auto repair shop. His wife Claudia also worked in the front of house. While this provided them a good living, they knew God had more in store for them. They leveraged their Advantages, taking as many night classes as they could on real estate and business ownership. Stacking action, the degrees and certificates started piling up. Eventually, they owned one auto repair shop, then another, until five shops filled their portfolio.

At the same time, they were flipping houses and dipping their toes into multifamily real estate investments. As they learned how to increase their Advantages in property investing, they soon realized their next phase involved selling the auto service centers and concentrating solely on their properties.

Conclusion

Remember, the biggest battle we have is the one that takes place between our ears. Being outside your comfort zone is where life begins. Take action today, and start the wave of momentum barreling through the next steps to success!
