FAQ

  1. How much is it to attend this trip? $1390.00 for adults, $1,000 for kids under 18.
  2. What does the payment cover? It covers a portion of your participating house build, room and board in Tijuana & San Diego, transportation from Las Vegas and San Diego to Tijuana and back, hotel stay on Thursday July 18, 2024, food Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning, there will be snacks and water for the drive to the YWAM compound.
  3. Do we need a valid passport? Yes
  4. Are there any physical limitations? Yes, be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 
  5. Do I have to have a negative COVID test or vaccine records to enter and return from Mexico: No, as long as you are a US citizen, you do not need to have a negative test or a vaccine card to go to and from Mexico.
  6. Can we pay for the trip without asking for donations? Yes
  7. Can minors attend? Yes (with parent, approved guardian or signed minor form)
  8. Do I have to pay for the hotel? The hotel cost for Thursday Thursday July 18, 2024 is included, for those that choose. Hotel incidentals will be the responsibility of the member.  Here is the hotel website to look at Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa .   9. What time can we check into our hotel? We have been told the earliest check in is 3pm on Thursday July 18, 2024, BUT if rooms are available earlier, they will accommodate an earlier check in.
  10. What time should you arrive in San Diego? All flights should arrive into San Diego no later than 3pm. if they require a shuttle ride from the airport to the hotel. If you are driving into San Diego, you will want to give yourself enough time to check into your hotel and a group dinner at 5:30pm.
  11. How will I get from the airport to the hotel? We do have shuttle vans available to pick people up from the airport if someone chooses to fly into San Diego. Please email Elizabeth Lee at liz@robrowsell.com to schedule your shuttle pick up.
  12. How do we get to Mexico from San Diego? Transportation from San Diego to Mexico and back will be provided. We have (10) 12 seat vans that we transport everyone to Mexico and back. There is also transportation from Las Vegas to San Diego. Please email Elizabeth Lee at liz@robrowsell.com to let her know you would like a seat on one of the vans coming from Las Vegas to San Diego.
  13. Where is the van pick up location for vans coming from Las Vegas to San Diego? We will be meeting up in The Crossing parking lot 7950 W Windmill Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89113 at 9am.
  14. Where do I park my car while we are in Mexico? If someone is driving to San Diego, the parking is covered at the hotel and vehicles are safe to be left there while we are in Mexico as well.
